  • Gated entrance and space for parking 2 cars.
  • Tiled terrace at front of house with entrances to sitting room and kitchen.
  • Enclosed, gated heated outdoor swimming pool with steps down. 7.25m x 3.3m (approx 24ft x 11ft). Depth 1m at bottom step to 1.7m at deep end. As required by French law, the pool is fenced and there is a lockable gate but this does not replace parental attention! Tiled surround with loungers, etc. - also space for paddling pool (provided).
  • Grassed garden with fruit trees and still plenty of room for children to play or to sit out.
  • Table tennis table in garden (bats and balls provided).
  • Secondary tiled terrace at side of house with countryside views and barbecue, pergola, table and chairs.
  • Games Room with table tennis, table football, Pool and darts. This is shared with our other gîte, Le Poirier.
  • Tranquil pond (not huge), (gated), for carp fishing or just relaxing.

  • Deuxième terrasse carrelée à côté de la maison avec vue sur la campagne. Barbecue, pergola, table et chaises à disposition
  • Salle de jeux avec tennis de table, baby-foot, billard et fléchettes. Ceci est partagé avec notre autre gîte, Le Poirier.
  • Étang (pas grand) pour la pêche à la carpe, endroit tranquille idéal pour se détendre.

Ground floor / Au rez de chaussée

  • Sitting / dining room with traditional open fireplace housing a wood-burner stove, looking out from two sides onto the garden. Seating for 6 plus highchair at dining table. Additional table and chairs. Comfortable sitting area facing fire with door to garden.
  • TV receives French terrestrial and satellite Freeview UK programmes. 
  • Kitchen with fitted units, dishwasher, fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven and grill, microwave oven, Tassimo coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Well equipped, with 10 place settings of all standard crockery and cutlery, tea pot, cafetiere, mugs and a sensible selection of cooking equipment for family use.
  • Telephone - there is a landline phone for calls out to emergency services.
  • Utility area off kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
  • Separate toilet and washbasin.

  • Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom. Beautiful views over fields and woods. Double bed (160 x 200 cm). Bathroom with bath and powerful shower over bath.
  • Bedroom 2 with en-suite shower room. Beautiful views over fields and pond. Double bed (160 x 200cm) which also be made up as two singles, one ordinary single bed and another single bed in a Captain’s bed frame, suitable for most children up to 10 years old. This has storage drawers under.  Bathroom with powerful shower (no bath).
  • Hairdryer (no diffuser).
  • Bathroom essentials such as shower gel are supplied.

  • L'étage est accessible par un escalier depuis le salon.
  • Chambre 1 avec sa salle de bain privée. Belle vue sur les champs et les bois. Lit double (160 x 200 cm). Salle de bain avec baignoire et douche puissante dans la baignoire.
  • Chambre 2 avec salle de douche privée. Belle vue sur les champs et l'étang. Lit double (160 x 200 cm) qui peut également se diviser en deux lits simples. En plus dans cette chambre, un lit simple disponible pour un adulte ou un enfant et un second  lit simple uniquement pour un enfant  entre 5 et 10 ans sous lequel se trouvent des tiroirs de rangement.
