ENGLISH - COVID 19
If your country of residence issues travel guidance which advises against travel to or within France, and this guidance is issued AFTER we have accepted a reservation from you and before your arrival date, we will issue a full refund of any payments received in connection with your booking. If guidance against travel to or within France is issued DURING your stay and you leave our property earlier than expected as a result of this guidance, then we will issue a refund for any booked nights after you leave. Please note that we cannot assure accommodation for you should you be unable to return home as a result of changes to your Government's travel guidance or regulations.
COVID 19 QUARANTINE
It is now well publicised that any time during 2021 / 2022 that a quarantine period could be implemented by your country's Government or that of France. Refunds wil not be possible if you request to cancel due to quarantine times / dates after Cottages-Loire have confirmed your booking.

Si votre pays de résidence vous déconseille de voyager vers la France ou en France, et que ces instructions vous sont émises APRÈS que nous avons eu accepté votre demande de réservation, et bien sûr avant votre date d’arrivée, nous nous engageons à vous rembourser intégralement la somme de votre réservation déjà versée au préalable. Si le gouvernement de votre nation fait paraître l’interdiction de voyager de votre pays vers la France, ou en France, DURANT votre séjour et que vous vous voyez dans l’obligation de quitté notre propriété avant la fin du séjour prévu initialement, nous nous engageons à vous rembourser les nuits réservées au préalable, après votre départ. Veuillez noter s’il vous plait, que nous ne pouvons pas vous garantir un hébergement si vous ne parvenez pas à rentrer chez vous en raison de modifications des directives et règlementations gouvernementales en termes de voyage.
COVID 19, quarantaine :
Il est désormais publié qu’à tout moment durant 2021 et 2022, qu’une période de quarantaine peut être imposée par le gouvernement de votre pays d’origine ou bien par la France.
Attention. Après que Cottages Loire ai confirmé votre réservation, il ne vous sera pas possible d’effectuer une demande de remboursement si vous vous trouvez en situation probable de quarantaine.
HOW TO BOOK:
- Fill in the booking form and submit it to us.
- For stays of one week or more, we will then send you an invoice for either the non-refundable booking deposit of £100 (or 100€), or the full payment due depending on the time before your expected arrival at La Joie du Muguet. For short breaks contact us for further information by phone (+44 771 464 9955 or +33 689 15 14 73) or send us an 'Enquiry' with details of your request.
- Apart from the separate security deposit (see 7 below), payments can be made by Credit or Debit Card using PayPal (subject to a 4% service charge) or by bank transfer. Full information as to how to pay will be included in your invoice.
- 9 weeks before the first date of your booked visit, the full outstanding balance of payment will be invoiced to you by e-mail and must be paid at least eight weeks before the first day of your booked visit.
- Full details of what is and is not included in your payments are given on the website and will also be detailed on your invoice.
- In addition to the booking deposit and balance of payments due, at least six weeks before the first day of your booked visit you are also required to provide a security deposit of £100 (or 150€) in case of damage or loss to property and contents. This is due with your holiday rental. The security deposit is refundable subject to an end-of-stay inspection. The payment of this sum does not limit your liability to us. The amount repaid to you will be subject to any deductions for damage, loss or cleaning charges where the clean takes more than 2 hours. If any deductions are made these will be detailed on an additional invoice.
- The contract between us and you shall commence on receipt of the non-refundable booking deposit (or the full payment due depending on the time before your expected arrival at La Joie du Muguet). Nonetheless, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and re-let the property in the event of non-receipt of any outstanding balance or of the security deposit eight weeks before the first day of your booked visit. Please note that should this happen all payments made up to eight weeks before the booked day of arrival will be non-refundable.
- COVID 19 Because of the extra time needed between and for changeovers (see our COVID CONTROL Policy) the letting period will start at 3.30 pm on the first booked day of your visit and will end at 11.30 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed, in writing, between you and us. We are sorry about this and we thank you in advance for your understanding.
- Receipt of the booking form by us and your payment of the non-refundable booking deposit (or the full payment due depending on the time before your expected arrival) means that you accept these booking conditions.
